Autobahn A20 bypasses Lübeck from the south, then connects with A21 between Bad Schwartau and Bad Segeberg. From Oldenburg in Holstein coming south bypassing Neustadt in Holstein and alongside Lübecker Bucht the Autobahn A1 bypasses Lübeck from North West, goes across Autobahn 20 and connects with A21 just south of Bad Oldesloe.

Autobahn A21 North runs northward passing by Wahlstedt and Neumünster runs into Kiel. After A21 merged with Autobahn A1 it loses its name and becomes a part of Autobahn A1 to continue south just east of Hamburg, where it crosses River Elbe and Autobahn A25. Lidl main offices are located in Neumünster, Schleswig-Holstein. German supermarket chain Lidl has made big strides in Denmark over the past couple years and is now turning to the TV airwaves to try to lure shoppers from as far away as Slovakia.
